PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing paper sheet conveying device, and an image forming device capable of conveying roll papers so that a rear end of a preceding paper sheet is not discontinuous from a front end of a succeeding paper sheet only by the control without changing a driving structure even when the overlapping relationship between the rear end of the preceding paper sheet and the front end of the succeeding paper sheet is either a case in which the rear end of the preceding paper sheet is on the transfer side, or a case in which the rear end of the succeeding paper sheet is on the transfer side. SOLUTION: In the printing paper sheet conveying device, and the image forming device capable of holding a plurality of roll papers 1, 2, 3, 4 and conveying the roll papers so that a rear end of a preceding paper sheet cut out of one roll paper is not discontinuous from a front end of a succeeding paper sheet cut out of another roll paper, an overlapping quantity control means to control the overlapping quantity of two paper sheets and a linear velocity control means to change the linear velocity at a rear end of the paper sheet passing through a resist roller 11 are provided.
