PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, inexpensive, high-productivity and high-precision screen printing method. SOLUTION: In this screen printing method, a screen plate 3 provided with an opening window 12 is installed on matter 1 to be printed; a printing material 4 in paste form is placed on the screen plate 3; and after that, a squeegee is moved in parallel by a parallel movement mechanism 10 while being pressurized in contact with the printing material 4 in paste form, so that the printing material 4 in paste form can be applied to the matter 1 to be printed, through the opening window 12 of the screen plate 3. The squeegee 11 to be used comprises a squeegee rubber 5, at least the leading end of which is longitudinally split into a plurality of parts along the direction of movement, and one squeegee implement 6 which fixes the squeegee rubber 5 with the split leading end so as to connect it to the mechanism 10. The squeegee is moved in parallel by the mechanism 10, while the plurality of split leading ends of the squeegee rubber 5 are brought into contact with the printing material 4 in paste form.
