PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calendar which does not allow a ring-like binding piece to easily slip out of a slit and consequently, can ensure insert-securing of the binding piece, without the use of an adhesive, when the apex of the binding piece is inserted into the slit formed in a pasteboard. SOLUTION: In making this calendar, first, a folding line 5 directed in parallel with the upper side of the pasteboard 2 and the upper end of a pair of cutting lines 6 extending, in an orthogonal direction with the upper side of the pasteboard, from both ends of the folding line 5 as a starting point, are provided at the upper side part of the pasteboard 2. Next, a pair of small holes 7 are opened each at an intersection between both ends of the folding line 5 and the upper end of the paired cutting lines 6, and the length of the folding line 5 is extended by a space inside the small holes 7.
