PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an offensive smell from coating refuse by a simple low cost means. SOLUTION: After the coating refuse 7 is ground and dried in a grinding/drying process 21 to reduce the offensive smell of the coating refuse 7, the coating refuse 7, a matrix resin 10 and a color pigment 11 are kneaded and granulated to form a mixed pellet 12 in a kneading/granulating process 22. The mixed pellet 12 is formed into a resin molded product 13 in a heating, melting and molding process 26 by injection molding or the like. In the kneading/granulating process 22, the coating refuse 7 receives heat history and the offensive smell is diffused from the coating refuse 7 to deodorize the coating refuse 7.
