The roller bearing includes roller bodies (3), a number of paired roller races (18,19), and bearing rings (1,2). The bearing rings includes components which are elastic in the operating direction of the working load on the roller bearing. The roller bearing has at least one sliding surface (13,14) and at least one contact surface (11,12). The normals to the sliding surfaces and contact surfaces respectively enclose an angle with the operating direction of the working load that is less than 90 degrees.
