<p>The crankcase has a main lubricant channel supplying an internal combustion engine with lubricant. A lubricant return flow channel (10) is provided for return flow of the excess lubricant to a reservoir. The lubricant return flow channel includes a peg-shaped widening that is constituted by a bearing support of an oil channel core (18), where the bearing support is formed directly on the oil channel core. An independent claim is also included for a process for producing a crankcase of an internal combustion engine.</p>
