<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus and a photographing method for accurately detecting both eyes of an object person from a photographed image at high speed with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: An image display section 22 provides two mark icons on which both-eye positions of the object person are to be overlapped by zoom-up to a photographer, an both-eye interval size conversion section 24 uses a ratio of, a zoom magnification when both the eye positions of the object person are overlapped on the mark icons, to a zoom magnification at photographing to convert the both-eye interval at the overlapping into a both-eye interval size at the photographing, and a both-eye position/size searching section 26 searches the both-eye positions with a size similar to the both-eye interval size converted by the both-eye interval size conversion section 24 from the photographed images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
