<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control output timing of the transmission wave, receiving timing of the reception wave, and level control operation of STC circuit with the usage of one lamp signal, and thereby to improve the reliability of operation of a radar-type proving device. <P>SOLUTION: A phase of a carrier signal from a carrier signal generation part 3 is modulated by a lamp signal from a scan signal generation part 5. Waveform of the carrier signal of which phase is modulated is shaped in a waveform shaping circuit 8 so that its falling or rising is steeper, and thus generated higher-order harmonics wave is transmitted from a transmitting antenna 10. The reflection wave transmitted from the transmitting antenna 10 and reflected by a target is received by a receiving antenna 11. A reception signal by the receiving antenna 11 is taken by a gate pulse signal generated on the basis of the carrier signal and the lamp signal. Level control based on the lamp signal is applied to the signal taken by the gate pulse signal by the STC circuit 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
