PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a motor having an improved winding space factor by arranging neck portions of teeth so as to deviate axially from the circumferentially adjacent neck portions of the teeth. SOLUTION: A stator of motor has a yoke (50) with the number of teeth (60) arranged radially on the circumferential surface of the yoke, and with coils (70) wound around respective teeth; the stator is configured such that the axial length of the teeth at neck portions (62) around which the coils are wound is shorter than the axial length of the yoke; and the axial positions of the neck portions of the teeth differ from the axial positions of circumferentially adjacent neck portions of the teeth.
