TABLET AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tablets which excel in the elution of a drug and have higher strength than the conventional tablets having the same composition and a method for manufacturing such tablets. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the tablets comprises previously compounding silica and a drug or an excipient to form composite particles, mixing the composite particles with the remaining component other than the composite particles, and tableting the mixture. The tablets manufactured by this technique remarkably improve mechanical strength compared to the tablets obtained by tableting a mixture obtained by merely mixing the components without compounding even when its composition has the same formulated ratio.
