PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of properly guiding a tip of a recording sheet and of reducing noise generated at the rear end of the recording sheet; and to provide an image formation device having it. SOLUTION: This sheet conveyance device includes: first guide members 66 and 68 arranged on the upstream side in the conveyance direction of a conveyance path for conveying the recording sheet; and a second guide member 70 arranged on the downstream side in the conveyance direction so as to adjoin the downstream-side ends of the first guide members 66 and 68 while having a step; and is used for conveying the recording sheet in a state where the recording sheet is so energized as to be pressed against surfaces of the first and second guide members 66, 68 and 70. A guide means that is so structured as to pass the rear end of the recording sheet in a form where a height difference is generated in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction is mounted at the rear ends of the first guide members 66 and 68 in the conveyance direction.
