PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of being securely restored when the power supply is restarted to the control state when the power supply is stopped. SOLUTION: A game control means executes a power supply stopped time process for retaining the control state when the power supply for the game machine is stopped, and a prescribed flag is set in a RAM in the power supply stopped time process. When the power supply is restarted, the game control means confirms whether an operation signal is outputted from an operation means or not. If it is confirmed that the operation signal is not outputted from the operation means, the game control means determines whether the flag is stored in the RAM or not, and executes a state restoration process for restoring the control state based on the content of storage saved in the RAM on condition that it is determined that the flag is stored in the RAM. If it is confirmed that the operation signal is outputted from the operation means, the game control means initializes the content of storage in the RAM area without executing the determination.
