PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper and a manufacturing method thereof in which diaper has neat appearance and good three-dimensional forming by erection of an absorptive body in the crotch part, and superior in fitting performance and leak prevention. SOLUTION: A whole of an absorptive body 5 is covered by cover sheets 6 (6a, 6b) and equipped with a center absorptive body 50 and a pair of side absorptive bodies 51, 51. Separating parts 52 are formed between both absorptive bodies 50, 51 and have straight line parts 53 formed almost parallel with the longitudinal direction of the center absorptive body 50 at least in the crotch part. (A) a part or the whole area between the surface sheet 3 and the cover sheet 6a in the straight line part 53 and (B) a part or the whole area between the cover sheet 6a positioned at the skin-contact face side of the absorptive body 5 and the cover sheet 6b positioned at the non-skin-contact face side of the absorptive body 5 in the straight line part 53 are respectively adhered and fixed by an adhesive.
