PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain patting information of a player by carrying out once to several times of patting operation without viewing light emitted from a signal originating part. SOLUTION: This device is composed of: a golf patter body; a ball supporting mat body including a golf ball drawn in a drawing or a photograph; and an optical signal originating part. The golf patter body consists of: a reflection member provided on its front side part (ball-hitting side) and reflecting the light emitted from the optical signal originating part; and a correction instructing mechanism for traveling the golf patter body in a correct direction, on a surface part.
