PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of performing highly accurate printing on various media in a short time. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer has a plurality of nozzle arrays wherein two sets constituted of a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array different from the first nozzle array are arranged in a manner such as to be displaced backward and forward in the longitudinal direction of the media, a moving means for movably supporting the plurality of nozzle arrays along the width direction of the media, a carrying means for carrying the media in the longitudinal direction of the media, and a control means for controlling the printer to perform printing of different types by switching between the case wherein ink is ejected from the first nozzle arrays in one set and from the second nozzle arrays in the other set and the case wherein ink is ejected from the second nozzle arrays in one set and from the first nozzle arrays in the other set, in a plurality of nozzle arrays moving on the media in the width direction of the media without changing the direction carrying the media in the longitudinal direction of the media.
