摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hydrogen storage material which contains LiNH<SB>2</SB>(lithium amide) and LiH (lithium hydride), wherein the peak temperature when hydrogen is released is shifted to the low temperature side. SOLUTION: The method for producing the hydrogen storage material comprises a step (a) of preparing a raw material composition containing a metallic element-containing catalyst particle and/or a magnesium amide particle and a lithium amide particle, a step (b) of imparting mechanical energy to the prepared raw material composition, a step (c) of adding a lithium hydride particle to the mechanical energy-imparted raw material composition and a step (d) of imparting mechanical energy to the lithium hydride particle-added raw material composition.
