CONTAINER STORAGE AND DELIVERY SYSTEM

A container directing apparatus for directing containers carried by a conveyor (76). It includes a lifting device (24) for lifting containers off of the conveyor (76). There is a moving apparatus (72) to moves the containers off of the lifting device (24). The lifting device (24) can include a lifting surface (28) which is inclined upward in the direction of container travel. The lifting surface (28) can then be leveled prior to moving the containers off of the lifting device (24).
