PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller equipped with an electronic thermal function, capable of rapid restart after motor stopping while positively performing overheat protection of a motor.
SOLUTION: A CPU4 calculates a first estimated detection temperature reset at an initial value approximate to an allowable temperature as a second reference temperature on the basis of a power input, and calculates a second estimated detection temperature reset at an initial value lower than a first reference temperature judged to be in overheat state. Moreover, the CPU4, when it judges that the first estimated detection temperature is in excess of the second reference temperature, stops the motor 1 and protects the motor from overheat. Furthermore, the CPU4 restarts driving of the motor 1 by a power input and, if the second estimated detection temperature is lower than the first reference temperature, the CPU4 drives the motor 1 in a standard cycle time and, if the second estimated detection temperature is higher than the first reference temperature, drives the motor 1 in a set cycle time set so as to be longer than the standard cycle time.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
