摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator), effecting frequency modulation with a high data rate and suppressing phase noise at a low level. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method and a device for creating an ideal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) permitting the provision of a very high modulation rate without causing phase noise (jitter) estimated so as to be generated from a substantially broad band voltage-controlled oscillator VCO. General high-performance VCO provides a signal high in the purity as compensation for narrowing of a modulation band region; however, according to the method of this invention, an ideal VCO having high performance (low jitters) and high modulation band can be created. The high-frequency phase modulator and control voltage processing are provided with a stage of dividing the frequency components of the control voltage and another stage of electrically integrating the high-frequency control voltage components toward a phase regulator.
