<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting instrument capable of avoiding deformation of a head suspension assembly. <P>SOLUTION: In the transporting instrument 11, a fixing member 18 receives a base part end of the head suspension assembly 41. On the other hand, an elastic member 19 receives a tip of the head suspension assembly 41. In such the transporting instrument 11 as this, an impact applied on the transporting instrument 11 during transporting the transporting instrument 11, can be enough relaxed by the elastic member 19. Even if for example, the tip of the head suspension assembly 41 is displaced based on an impact, the tip of the head suspension assembly is received by the elastic member 19. The impact of a collision between the tip of the head suspension assembly 41 and the elastic member 19 can be enough relaxed by the elastic member 19.
