<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process and transmit coding data of an image on a server side and the whole image on a client side so as to be displayed in an easily viewable state. <P>SOLUTION: A server device 1 has a code conversion section 12 conducting conversion lowering a resolution and turning the orientation of the image at 90° with a coding state left as it is to the coding data. In the coding data of the image to be transmitted, the coding data are transmitted as they are when the extended image is housed in the display region 3 of a client 2, and the coding data are transmitted after the resolution is converted by the code conversion section 12 to the housed resolution when the extended image is housed in the display region 3. In the coding data of the image to be transmitted, the coding data are transmitted after turning conversion by the coding conversion section 12 when the extended image is not housed in the display region 3 even after the conversion of the resolution to a minimum resolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
