PRINTER, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND PRINTING CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which inexpensively corrects misregistration without reference to the type of an exposure system and which obtains the good result of printing, a printing control method, and a printing system.

SOLUTION: This printer comprises a misregistration-amount detecting means, a dithering processing means for performing dithering processing by referring to a prepared dither table, a dither-table shifting means for shifting the prepared dither table to be referred to, and an image-data shifting means for shifting image data. The printer shifts the dither table in the direction opposite to that of the image data.
