<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of image quality caused by printing deviation in an image forming apparatus using both of high-concentration toner and low-concentration toner. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing determination part 65 determines xstart1 which is exposure start timing of a light black and xstart2 which is exposure start timing of black (step S1) (1), a printing deviation value reducing processing part 69 calculates a printing deviation value from the xstart1, the xstart2, β1, and β2 and sets the application rate of the low-concentration toner to the high-concentration toner on the basis of the printing deviation value (step S2) (2), and then a scanning control part 67 performs exposure (step S3) (3). Since the application rate of the high-concentration developing agent to the low-concentration developing agent is changed by predicting a printing deviation value between an image formed by the high-concentration developing agent and an image formed by the low-concentration developing agent, image quality deterioration due to the printing deviation can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
