<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment which is devised so as to make the recognitions of optional equipment between an operator side and an equipment side accord with each other. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of medium trays comprises a part having a common impedance value, and mutually serially connected or parallelly connected when the medium trays are deployed in a mainframe portion, and comprises an impedance measuring section to measure the value of a combined impedance of the parts provided in the medium trays deployed in the mainframe portion, a control section to obtain the number of medium trays deployed in the mainframe portion from the value of a combined impedance obtained by the impedance measuring section and a warning section which issues a warning concerning the number of medium trays arranged in the mainframe portion on the basis of the number of the medium trays obtained in the control section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
