<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a leakage route to confirm that the content recording output of which receiver is re-transmitted, if the redistribution-limited content is redistributed. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcasting station sends a program added with a content identifier for uniquely identifying the program and a redistribution control descriptor for preventing secondary leakage when the program is video-recorded. In this case, a receiver interprets the content identifier and the redistribution control descriptor. When detecting an apparatus video-recording the output from the receiver, the receiver transmits the receiver ID and the content ID to a data server by utilizing the Internet or a telephone circuit to control the information.
