<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-scan device and a multi-scan method for a plasma display panel. <P>SOLUTION: Data signals for respective scan lines, which form one frame, are compared with each other, and scan lines having the same data signals are are simultaneously scanned by using the comparison result. By simultaneously scanning the scan lines having the same data signals, the panel scanning time is decreased, whereby the sustain time for generating light is increased to display an image having sufficient brightness on a screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
