PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop ejector in which occurrence of clogging of nozzle can be retarded, and to provide a method for controlling micro oscillation of the liquid drop ejector. SOLUTION: The liquid drop ejector comprises an ejection head 26 having a nozzle 27 for ejecting functional liquid, a timer 89 for measuring a predetermined time after the functional liquid is refreshed, an ROM 73 or an RAM 74 storing data for applying a micro oscillation voltage waveform corresponding to the elapsed time to a meniscus in the nozzle 27, and a CPU 72 for instructing the ejection head 26 to apply the micro oscillation voltage waveform based on data corresponding to the elapsed time.
