PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that allows an operating member to be irradiated uniformly and that is capable of being reduced in size. SOLUTION: The input device comprises: a housing 1; a turning plate 12 held by the housing 1 in such a way as to be capable of rotational movement; the operating member 15 mounted on the turning plate 12 and capable of rotational-movement operation; pressing members 18, 16b provided at the center of the operating member 15 and capable of up-and-down-movement operation; a first input part for detecting the rotational-movement operation of the operating member 15; and a second input part for detecting the up-and-down movements of the pressing members 18, 16b. Between the second input part and the pressing members 18, 16b, there is provided a driving member 7 that contacts the lower surfaces of the pressing members 18, 16b and drives the second input part by moving up and down in response to the up-and-down-movement operation of the pressing members 18, 16b.
