PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of a V-type internal combustion engine enabling a reduction in the size of all of overall throttle bodies on both banks including the drive parts of the throttle valves. SOLUTION: In this V-type internal combustion engine, a plurality of cylinders are banked in a V-shape. The throttle bodies are arranged parallel with each other in intake passages extended from the combustion chambers of the cylinders to between V-banks. The upstream side throttle valves 71f and 71r and the downstream side throttle valves 51f and 51r are disposed on the upstream side and the downstream side of intake air in the throttle bodies. An upstream side valve drive part 75 driving the upstream side throttle valves 71f and 71r is installed in the throttle body 70f on one of the V-banks, and downstream side valve drive parts 55 and 56 driving the downstream side throttle valves 51f and 51r are installed in the throttle valve 50r on the other of the V-banks. The upstream side valve drive part 75 and the downstream side valve drive parts 55 and 56 are disposed on the same side of the throttle valve in its axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
