PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize proper cream-solder printing by constantly and automatically grasping a state of a metal mask through the quantitative measurement of the state of the metal mask, so as to fundamentally prevent the occurrence of poor printing; and to timely perform maintenance, for example, in the timing of the remanufacture of the metal mask. SOLUTION: This cream-solder printing machine 21, which prints cream solder on a print substrate 22 by means of the metal mask 24, is equipped with a measurement means 30 which is composed of a laser etc., for measuring a shape of a face of the metal mask 24. The measurement means 30, which is mounted on an X-Y table 25 constituted in such a manner as to be movable in the X-Y directions on the metal mask 24, measures a distance dimension from a measurement part 30a near an opening 32 of the metal mask 24, and measures a distance dimension from the measurement part 30a to a reference plane in such a manner that a part, against which a squeegee (not shown in Fig.) is not pressed, of the metal mask 24 serves as the reference plane, so that the deformation of the metal mask 24 can be detected by a value of a difference between the distance dimension and a reference dimension.
