A curled elastic member (160) has a flexion portion (161) allowing for local flexion. The curled elastic member (160) is provided with an abutment piece (165) positioned on the outer side of the flexion portion (161) and brought into abutment with the outer surface in proximity to the flexion portion (161) when the curled elastic member (160) is in the shape suitable for blood pressure measurement. The flexion portion (161) is provided with a groove (162) on the inner circumferential side thereof with a groove bottom having the shape of an arc in cross section. A blood pressure monitor cuff and a blood pressure monitor are provided with the curled elastic member formed to be foldable without losing the essentially required characteristics.
