The arrangement has travel sensor (24) between vehicle frames (12) and vehicle body or between vehicle frames and vehicle axle (14,16), for distance measurement or for recording the relative displacement. An inclination sensor (28) is provided, which records the inclination of the vehicle body or vehicle frame compared to the zero position and which provides measured value for control device. An independent claim is also included for the method for level control and regulation of a part of vehicle body.
