METHOD OF TRANSMITTING DIGITAL SERVICES OVER A NETWORK AND DEVICE IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD

The process involves extracting information on a location over a network e.g. Internet protocol network, from a stream. A receiver is connected to a part of the stream conveying description information of digital services in a manner to obtain the information on the digital services. The information is used by the receiver for constructing a possible unitary list of the services available on the network. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus implementing a digital video broadcasting performing process.
