FIELD: metal working. ^ SUBSTANCE: milling cutter comprises housing defined by sides and peripheral surface whose riffle grooves parallel to axis of the milling cutter receive cells secured by means of the differential screws and wedges and are provided with sockets for receiving cutting plates. Each groove is adjacent to the opening that is parallel to the axis of the milling cutter and receive the means for axial adjusting of the position of the cell provided with the cutting plate. The means for axial adjusting is made of detachable device that has rod whose one end is provided with the transverse projection for the cooperation with the bottom and sides and grooves in the sides of the housing and other end is provided with the thread for connection with the bushing whose face points to the transverse projection of the rod and interacts with the cell in the course of its axial adjustment. ^ EFFECT: enhanced convenience of axial adjustment. ^ 3 dwg |
