A mobile communication system which enables power consumption reduction for a mobile station (100) with plural mode capability by unifying the location registration and paging processing for every mobile communication system (101,111). The mobile communication systems are arranged so that location registration processing and paging processing for the mobile station (100) is performed by only one of the radio communication systems. The mobile station can access any other radio communication systems. This allows power saving in a dual mode mobile device, as location registration is only performed within one communication system. |
