PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the storage total amount of a video information supply side by using a background video image for plural caption video image. SOLUTION: A background video image is stored in a 1st auxiliary storage device 11a, a song telop is stored in a 2nd auxiliary storage device 11b respectively as digital data. When a request signal is sent to a video information supply device 28 via a transmission line 7, a background video image of a genre corresponding to the request is read from the 1st auxiliary storage device 11a and processed as a packet by a 1st video packetizer 5 and the packet is outputted to a multiplexer 9. On the other hand, the song telop corresponding to the request is read from the 2nd auxiliary storage device 11b and processed as a packet by a 2nd video packetizer 6 and the packet is outputted to the multiplexer 9. The packets are outputted to the terminal equipment 36 as a packet string from the multiplexer 9. |
