The condenser has an inflow chamber (13) arranged in an area of a refrigerant transfer opening (8) in a collector. The chamber (13) is limited upward by a plug and downward by a drier-filter unit. A supply chamber (14) for refrigerant is arranged within the unit. A standpipe has a inflow opening arranged in the chamber (14), and a down pipe with its inflow sided end is arranged in the collector, where end is connected to the opening.
