FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two-stroke diesel engines of large displacement. Proposed piston engine contains at least one piston arranged in cylinder and equipped with at least one piston ring fitted in corresponding groove whose end parts get into each other in form of slot and pin, forming outer peripheral surface passing along periphery without clearance and engaging with working surface from side of cylinder. At least one end part of lock is provided with at least one radial through cavity whose open section is exposed to action of relative displacement of end parts of lock getting into each other. ^ EFFECT: increased service life, provision of convenience in servicing. ^ 10 cl, 5 dwg |
