FIELD: manufacture of building materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: cement clinker production process comprises calcinations of raw mix in calcinator, having upper zone and lower zone, fuel, gaseous combustion product, and raw mix being introduced into upper zone of calcinatory and directed below through calcinator. Gaseous combustion product and raw mix are introduced into calcinator tangentially and subjected to rotation following spiroid pattern of stream, raw mix being mainly directed below along the wall of calcinator. Rotation of gaseous combustion product, at least in lower zone of calcinator, is hindered by passing this product through cross-like free space formed by mixing unit installed in the same lower zone of calcinator, which is accompanied by deviating at least a part of gaseous combustion product and at least a part of raw mix in direction to central axis of calcinator. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of raw mix firing and fuel combustion. ^ 8 cl, 4 ex |
