This invention provides a glass powder-containing resin composition having excellent surface smoothness coated on a supporting film, a transfer film that the film forming material layer has excellent surface smoothness so that no poor shape is formed, and a process for manufacturing a PDP with dielectric layer having excellent surface smoothness and uniform thickness of film. This invention also provides a glass powder-containing resin composition comprising (A) glass powder, (B) binder film, (C) silyl-containing compound, and (D) metal alkoxide; a transfer film having film forming material layer obtained from the composition; and process for manufacturing a PDP containing the transfer film.
