Method to control a control circuit and the current running through connected devices of an electrified track with an electrical motor

A current value measured over a time interval, is used to determine the total resistance in the current path. The current through the motor supply cable is controlled in a second, subsequent interval, as a function of the total resistance and a desired value of current in this cable. A formula used to calculate the desired pulse width modulation (PWM) in the desired condition, is presented. Temperature effects are taken into account.
