The blank has a carrier layer (1) with an inner face (2) and an outer reflective face (3) with a mat cover layer (6). This has at least one opening (7) to permit the passage of light. A printed layer (8) at least partially fills the opening, and is partially transparent in this areas, so that the light catching the printed later is reflected by the carrier layer. The carrier layer is of aluminum, or a laminated material with metallic surface containing metalized plastic films. The printed layer shows a printed motive.
