A collapsible chair (10), has a frame assembly (12) defining a seat squab (12) which may be padded, a backrest (19) which may be adjustable to recline and may also be padded. A plurality of height adjustable legs (14) are attached to the frame and move with respect to the frame to allow use of the seat on uneven ground. The legs (14) are mounted to be foldable between an operational configuration in which they support the seat portion (12) off the ground in use and a stowed position in which they lie generally flat with respect to said seat portion (12). |
