FIELD: polymer materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating composition containing (A) at least one oligomers of polyester prepared from reagents including (a) 20-60% of at least one polyol, (b) 5-30% of at least one polycarboxylic acid selected from group composed of cyclic polycarboxylic acids and esters and anhydrides thereof wherein carboxylic groups are separated from each other by 3 or less carbon atoms, and from group of alpha,beta-unsaturated acyclic polycarboxylic acids and esters and anhydrides thereof, and (c) 20-60% of at least one monocarboxylic acid (sum a+b+c always being 100%), wherein oligomer is a low-viscosity one having weight average molecular weight below 5000 and hydroxyl number within a range of 200 to 400 mg KOH/g oligomer; and (B) at least one polyisocyanate. Use of coating compositions according to invention in the field of finishing and re-finishing of motor cars and large vehicles is also described.
