FIELD: packing of ammunition in a container for storage and transportation, in particular, packing of artillery small-caliber cartridges for automatic guns in a sealed metal container with a cover. ^ SUBSTANCE: the belt is turned with the cartridges outside beginning from the inner branch, where a bend is made. The power clamping of the assembly is effected by the cover through an additionally introduced horizontal support with blind seats for the bottoms of the cartridge cases made in it. ^ EFFECT: expanded technological potentialities of packing of cartridge belts of different standard sizes into a universal standard container with regard to the original shape and geometry of the spiral and reorientation of the assembly with the cartridge nose down. ^ 2 dwg
