FIELD: devices for heat treatment of strips and bands in tightly rolled rolls; metallurgy and mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: to exclude penetration of combustion products into under-muffle space and sand onto metal being annealed, bell-type furnace is provided with base with concentric groove where heat-removal components and rubber rings are located; muffle is mounted in groove; lower part of this muffle is cone-shaped in form and side surface is provided with concentric knife immersed in sand gate; furnace is also provided with stand for rolls, circulating fan and heating bell. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of metal; reduction of sorting-out of metal to low grade; enhanced efficiency. ^ 2 dwg |
