FIELD: metallurgy; preparation of metal melts in foundry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading and melting of burden in melting furnace, additional loading of charge into melt, alloying, deoxidation and modification of melt by nano-particles of refractory compounds; preliminarily layer of oxides, carbides, carbonitrides, nitrides, borides and other refractory compounds no more than 0.1 mcm in thickness is formed on surface of alloyng elements, deoxidizing agents and part of burden.
