FIELD: metallurgy, namely manufacture of articles on base of intermetallide matrix reinforced with fire resistant filers. ^ SUBSTANCE: process for making article of composition metallic material comprises steps of assembling reinforcing blank in the form of carcass of mutually joined by means of binder monocrystalline plates made of material containing oxides, carbides, silicides and(or) borides; drying them and subjecting to heat treatment; filling inter-plate gaps with powder of refractory metals such as Ti, Ni, Co, Mo, Cr, W, Nb and(or) their mixture; crystallizing them at forming intermetallide matrix; before assembling blank, applying onto surface of each monocrystalline plate layer of refractory metal selected of above mentioned group of metals. ^ EFFECT: manufacture of article with increased strength preventing exfoliation of composition material. ^ 2 cl, 5 ex, 1 tbl |
