FIELD: packing and sealing. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articulated construction for connecting cover to base or housing of seal for vessel. According to first design version, articulated construction for connecting two parts is made as elastomer member passing from one part to the other and provided with outer surface open from outside when parts are in closed and open positions and inner surface which is exposed to active of compressing forces over entire length when said two parts are in closed position, and containing also two side edges. Proposed articulated construction is free from construction members arranged at side of elastomer member so that two side edges are open from side when said parts are in closed and open positions. Outer surface of elastomer member is stretched when said two parts are in closed position, thanks to which said elastomer member applies force for shifting two parts from closed position into open position during entire process of shifting from closed into open position. Design peculiarity of articulated construction, according to second and third design versions, is that construction is provided with film joint connecting two parts and providing displacement of at least one of said parts between open and closed positions mainly around axis. ^ EFFECT: provision of uniform distribution of stresses along outer side edges. ^ 16 cl, 27 dwg |
