Compounds of the formula wherein: {circle around (C is phenyl, C<SUB>4 </SUB>to C<SUB>9 </SUB>heteroaromatic, naphthalenyl, 5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalenyl or biphenyl; R<SUP>1</SUP>, R<SUP>2 </SUP>and R<SUP>3 </SUP>are hydrogen or a substituent; n is 0 to 4; A represents -CH<SUB>2</SUB>-, -CH-CR<SUP>6</SUP>, -CR<SUP>6</SUP>-CH-, -CR<SUP>6</SUP>R<SUP>7</SUP>-, -CO-, -O-, -S-, -S(O)-, SO<SUB>2 </SUB>or -NR<SUP>6</SUP>-, wherein R<SUP>6 </SUP>and R<SUP>7 </SUP>are hydrogen or lower alkyl, or R<SUP>6 </SUP>and R<SUP>7 </SUP>together form an alicyclic ring; m is 0 to 8; (when m=0, A is not -CH<SUB>2</SUB>-); p is 1 or 2; B represents a group of the formula ii): wherein R<SUP>10 </SUP>is hydrogen, hydroxy or methyl; and Q represents a single bond, -CH<SUB>2</SUB>-, -CH<SUB>2</SUB>-CH<SUB>2</SUB>-, -O-, -O-CH<SUB>2</SUB>-, -S-, -S-CH<SUB>2</SUB>- or -CH-CH-, and x represents an anion and wherein the compounds show high affinity for muscarinic M<SUB>3 </SUB>receptors (Hm3).
